How
much do you charge for a private reading?
Private
readings by phone are $180/hour and $90/half-hour.
Private
readings onsite are $120/hour and $60/half-hour.
What
is included in a private reading?
Private
readings are taped, and cost of the reading includes shipping and handling if by
phone. The private reading can include consultation with Carruch alone,
Carol alone, or both, per the client's request.
What
can I ask about in a private reading?
You
may inquire about, literally, anything in your life or relationships -- jobs,
home, relationship, spiritual questions, soul path, past lives -- information
purely about others (which has no bearing on you) is available only with the
individual's expressed permission.
Can
I purchase a Gift Certificate?
Because
of the very personal nature of the work, I do not usually provide gift
certificates for my reading services. If you would like to gift someone
with a reading, I suggest that you:

First,
have them check out my website and see if this is something that they want
to experience.

Second,
tell them that you would like to pay for their reading, if they want a
reading.

Third,
have them schedule, and then either you pay for their reading, or give them the money
to pay for the reading.
I
do, on occasion, offer the opportunity to purchase Gift Certificates.
However, because of the requirements of Washington State law (I must track these
certificates for at least 3 years), I do usually include an extra charge for
open-ended gift certificates.
How
do I schedule my reading?
You
may schedule in any of the following ways:

Use
the Online
Scheduler. The Online Scheduler allows you to view available
open times for the type and length of reading that you want, and to schedule
a reading date/time that works for you best.

to request a reading time. Be sure to include your name, the type (phone or
onsite) and length (hour or half-hour) of reading you want, your time zone,
and times when I might be able to reach you back in person so that we can
schedule a session time for you.

Should
I schedule an hour or a half-hour?

Most
clients find it more satisfying to have an initial session of one hour. In
follow-up sessions, a half-hour is usually adequate time.
How
do I pay for my reading?

You
may pay with a credit/debit card (I handle all credit/debit payments through
Paypal, although you do not have to be a paypal member to use the service), or
you may pay by check/money order payable
to Carol Steinel. You may pay with cash if you are having an onsite
reading.
How
do I join the Karma Club?

You
may qualify for a reduced price for readings by referring three new clients to
me who schedule and pay for a reading. Be sure to tell them to indicate
that you referred them, so that I can credit the referral to you. Read
more about the "Karma Club". From time to time, I offer
specials that allow you to join the Karma Club without making three referrals,
but to be notified of these specials, you must be on my email
list.
Do
you travel to do personal readings in other places?

I
often make time for personal readings when I am traveling to teach, but will
also travel just to do a series of readings if there is a host/organizer who
gathers a sufficient number of people to warrant the travel expenses.
